Kickline and Men’s/Boys Tap Ages 13+ September 8th 5:30-7:00
Girls should bring character shoes. All should bring tap shoes. These parts include precision dancing in jazz/tap.

Children’s Roles Ages 7-12 September 9th 5:30-7:00
These roles include the following dancing parts: Reindeer, Toy Soldiers, Dolls, and Children.
The roles of The Elves require speaking/singing. Children interested in auditioning for these roles should prepare 45 seconds of their favorite Christmas carol and a comedic monologue. Please email Lari at lgist@citadeldmc.org with questions.

The Citadel Dance & Music Center proudly presents “The Citadel Spectacular” December 18/19, 2026 on the Jenkins Theatre Mendel Main Stage at Lake Michigan College. This family friendly production features a glistening collection of holiday favorite tunes and high energy dancing choreographed by Lari Lawrence-Gist and danced by 40+ students and faculty members. It is hosted by Santa, played by Andrew Fisher, who invites the audience to catch a last minute glimpse of the North Pole on Christmas Eve. This 90 minute production is full of festive nostalgia and is sure to dazzle audience members of all ages with appearances by some of our favorite holiday characters, high kicking and fast footed dancing, and music that will take you back to all your best holiday memories.

VISIT WITH SANTA We invite you to join Santa and his Elves for one spectacular party! Upon entry, children can fill out their wish card, have a cup of cocoa, visit the activity stations, enjoy a photo session with the Elves, and Visit Santa! The North Pole will be on full display in the North Lobby pre-show for the evening performances, and post show on Saturday morning/afternoon. $10 one child or $20 per family.

Tickets available October 1st at www.citadeldancemusic.ludus.com on and range from $15-$30. Three performances; Friday, December 18th at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, December 19th at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Family friendly and something for everyone.
